I hope you haven’t blinked yet…if you did, you may have already missed 2/3 of season 3 of ‘Quints By Surprise’ on TLC. And if you blink again you may miss the final two episodes which air this Tuesday night, the 22nd. So whatever you do, don’t blink!! :)
I know, I know…our “seasons” go by so quickly they are gone before you have a chance to settle in and enjoy the experience! As far as we can tell, our ratings have simply not been good enough to warrant a more significant commitment. So while we would definitely love to do more shows and more seasons, we are extremely grateful for the opportunity we have been given so far and have loved being able to share our family with you all!!

And in other news, our favorite photog, Elle Mendenhall of Ella Bella Photography, spent some time with us at the park recently and you are seeing the fruits of her labor on this very page! We can’t say enough how much we love working with Elle and how much we especially love the photographs she manages to capture of our wild bunch!!
And finally, we want to wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving!! This is without a doubt my favorite of all holidays though I know there is no one in this family who will agree with me on that. It’s the perfect holiday – no songs to get stuck in your head, no gifts to give or to get, not a whole lot of decorating…just food, football, and family – LOVE IT!!!! So from our family to yours, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Awe, I can’t believe it’s almost over! I just L.O.V.E the show! You and Casey are such an inspiration, the way you are raising your children in the Lord. It’s so amazing to see a family do that, so great to see that faith is still alive today! You have my veiwing Tuesday, I’m so hoping that they renew you again!
I thought maybe it was just me- the seasons seemed really short- but I guess they really are.
As for ratings, I’m surprised. Personally, I love the show. You’re my favorite show on TLC!

Just want you to know I’m sad your current season is almost over. I truly enjoy watching your wonderful, growing family. I don’t think TLC promoted the show enough — lots of people don’t even know about it. Anyway I did write TLC telling them I hope they bring you back for another season.

Ethan and Casey, your show is so wonderful and can not believe your season is done already. My girls and I LOVE watching you every week and look forward to it. Because of the time it is on in Ontario, Canada (10pm) I have to PVR it and watch it the next day but first thing in the morning the girls are asking me if I taped it and when they can watch it. I really wish TLC would make more of an effort to promote your show and air it earlier in the evening so families can watch it together. Maybe if your show was given equal weight with others like Sister Wives and All-American Muslim than we could finally have another good Christian based family to gain wisdom and encouragement from. It’s like TLC is setting your show up to fail which really upsets me as a Christian looking for wholesome, uplifting and funny shows to let my children enjoy. It seems TLC only likes it when their shows create controversy. I will pray they realize how much your show is needed on t.v. right now and that there will be another season very soon. I was looking forward to seeing a Christmas episode of Quints by Surprise this year. I will pray that your show is brought back for not just one but many more seasons. I know it’s been a bumpy ride, it’s been a whirling dirvish, it’s been an experience to remember — and wish to forget! But most of all, it’s been GOD’s will and it’s been a wonderful time watching your family as they learned, grew, experienced, laughed, cried, and prayed. Most of all, prayed and acknowledged GOD — the best moments of all parents: teaching your children about GOD.
I wish your show could continue, and I sincerely hope it does, but if your show is cancelled I think that it’s going to be okay. Your family’s future is secure in GOD’s plan and your life will continue without us watching. We will certainly miss you all if it is cancelled, but we will also know that GOD’s provision was for you to have been “in the public” for those hours that you were. Also, that there is something not just good but BETTER around the corner and GOD will guide you. We look forward to watching your website and seeing your news here.
However, we sincerely will miss you and yours… IF you get cancelled. Looking forward to watching the last few episodes.
You and Casey are a true inspiration. It is beautiful to see such a loving family these days. I have enjoyed watching your family grow up over these 3 seasons, and I truly hope TLC puts a little more faith in your show. TLC needs to realize a 10 PM time slot isn’t going to get children watching and one of the biggest audiences of shows such as these are children. An 8 or 9 PM timeslot would possibly let the younger generations tune in and ratings would go up. Once I forgot to set the timer and I didn’t get out of class until 10 PM and I had to set the timer for a random night at 1 AM to catch the episode I missed. They could play reruns during the day to let people know about your show. That’s what they did for Jon and Kate and they still do that for 19 Kids and Counting. You guys are blessed to have such a wonderful family, and if TLC doesn’t continue on with the program, please keep blogging. You are a true inspiration and I wish you the best of luck in the future.
I LOVE this show!!! My husband would never sit down and watch reality TV shows until we stumbled upon “Quints By Surprise”. We have a Two year old daughter so we feel like we can relate to what the Jones are going through. I was so excited to watch it this week and just realized that there are no more episodes. A little bummed! But hope TLC brings them back for season 4.
Everyone who loves the show…. Send a message to TLC requesting new shows and longer seasons. I did and got a response from them. If enough of us do it they will extend the show.

Darn, I cannot believe the season is over again already!!!! Way too short. Your show is our favorite on TLC(My 7 year old daughter and me). We have the past few episodes on DVR and my daughter wants to watch them over and over after school everyday!
I love your show!! My little girl is the same age as the quints and begs me to watch “the babies”. We record them on tivo and watch them over and over! I hope to see y’all back!

It is refreshing to see the ups and downs the love the happiness that TV is lacking. You guys are a breath of fresh air and something i can watch with my daughter!
